Our expert system solution is based on a two halves:

The Rule Designer - This is a visual tool for building the rules in a format that is easy for your experts to access, modify and maintain. A visual tree structure with a "drag and drop" interface guides the designer in creating the rules. These are portrayed in a decision-tree format.

The Rule Processor - This is the rule processing "engine" that receives the input and returns the results or performs the appropriate actions) based on the rules.
All rules are stored in a database and the rule processor is driven off of the same rules database.
