Desmac Corporation, at Texas Corporation, was founded in 1985. At the time it was founded, Desmac provided PC based software for design of machine components. Thus the name Desmac was formed as the combination of DESign and MAChine.

Under new leadership in the early 90's, Desmac changed its focus towards custom business software such as accounting systems, ERP, expert systems and operations.

We have evolved from development of character based file-server based systems in the early 90's, to GUI (graphical user interface) based client-server systems in the mid 90's, to the modern multi-tier web based applications that are so popular today.
